Overview
Class reminder emails are sent automatically to clients ahead of each session they're booked into. They reduce no-shows, and reinforce the professional feel of your studio. You control when they're sent and - on the Pro plan - what they say. If you don't need them, you can always turn them off.
Enabling and configuring reminders
-
Go to Settings > Organisation settings
-
Change the "Class reminder email" setting. Choose how many hours before the class start time the email should be sent. The default is 1 hour before, but you can choose 1 hour before, 2 hours before, 4 hours before, 1 day before, or choose Disabled to not send reminder emails.
-
Click "Save settings".
What the reminder includes
The class reminder email automatically includes the class name and scheduled time as well as the class location.
Email customisation: On the Pro plan you can fully customise the reminder emails. See Managing emails for more information.
Disabling reminders
You can disable class reminders from Settings > Organisation settings > Class reminder emails at any time.
Common questions
Do reminders go out for sessions I create manually for a client?
Yes. Reminders are triggered for all bookings regardless of how they were created - whether by the client online or by you manually in the dashboard.
Can I send a reminder manually right now?
Automated reminders can't be triggered manually at the moment. If you need to send a one-off message to attendees - for example to notify them of a last-minute venue change - you can get their email addresses from the session's attendee list and email them directly.
