Overview
HeyBookMe creates a customer record automatically the first time someone books with you. The Customers section gives you a list of everyone who has ever booked, with tools to view their history, manage their details and bookings.
Viewing the customer list
Go to Customers in the main navigation. You can search by name or email address, and sort by name, email, or sign-up date or number of bookings. Click any customer to open their profile.
Customer profile
A customer profile shows:
- Customer info - name, email address, when the customer signed up, number of completed bookings, total lifetime value, and most recent booking.
- Bookings - a list of all past and upcoming bookings, including booking status, check-in status, booking date, and whether a passwas used.
- Passes - a list of all past and current passes showing the amount paid, the current usage / remaining balance.
Common questions
Can a customer update their own details?
Yes. Clients can update their name and email address from the hosted booking site's My Profile tab. Changes they make are reflected in their customer profile.
What if two people share the same email address?
HeyBookMe uses email as the unique customer identifier. If two people use the same email, they'll share a customer record. We'd recommend asking them to use separate email addresses for their own accounts.
